KLCI is gradually reversing this morning negative trend. Now sitting comfortably between the 1439-1441 level.

Found this amusing line from Edge Daily.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.42% or 192.08 points to 13,359.61 on lingering concerns about the US economy and fears of a global unrest after Bhutto was gunned down as she was leaving a political rally.

Global unrest?

And this one from Bernama, it is really trying hard to drum up support for the ruling government....

The outlook for the Malaysian economy in 2008 is expected to be favourable with growth of between 6.0 and 6.5 percent despite adverse external factors as brisk activities from new growth corridors coupled with belt-tightening measures, high commodity prices, stable interest rates and inflation provide a crucial boost to the economy.

Stable interest rates and inflation? Brisk activities from the growth corridors? I wonder if they are reading the same newspapers and living in the same place as the rest of us.
